There he met Franz Liszt, who received him mostcordially. In 1889 Glazounoff- conducted (June 22) at Paris in theconcerts of the Trocadero, which were organized by the music pubHsher,Belaieff, his second symphony and the symphonic poem, StenkaRazine, written in memory of Borodin. In 1891 the following cablegram, dated Petrograd, October 8, waspublished in the newspapers of Boston:— A profound sensation was created here to-day.
