He mar-ried Clara E. Shingle, March i8, 1893. Fezandi^, Joseph Hector (, 75), wasborn in Paris, France, August 22, 1856. He. J. H. Fezandie came to this countrj with his parents in1861, and attended a public school in NewYork city for a couple of years, then studiedin a private school founded by his fatheruntil 1872, when he entered Stevens in theSophomore year. He engaged in teachingmathematics at the Fezandie Institute, NewYork, 1875-77; attended the Paris Exposi-tion in 1878 as representative of The IronAge, and was a regular member of its edi-torial staff until 1880. Although afterwardengaged in other occupations, he maintainedhis connection with that journal until 1903,being employed upon its French 1881 to 1891 he was in the employ ofthe firm of John Matthews, manufacturersof soda-water machinery and apparatus, andwhen this firm sold out its business he re-turned to teaching, and has since then beeninstructo
