Battle of Truillas (22nd September, 1793). War episode that took place in Truillas, near Perpignan, during the War of Roussillon or War of the Pyrenees, between the troops of Charles IV of Spain, under the command of General Antonio Ricardos, and the French army led by Luc Simeon Auguste Dagobert. The Spanish army won a great victory against the French revolutionary army, driving them back towards the mountains. Engraving by Severini. Historia General de Espana by Father Mariana.
