A circular one inch board mustbe fastened to the cross pieces shownin Fig. 4 around the inside of thebarrel to keep the pigs from drowningwhen small. Barrel No. 2 can be placed any-where, but a position where thelot fence can run across barrel ispreferable, for in this way hogs canbe watered on both sides.
