The twin Sheba Dams near Hanging Rock are a slice of history that were originally hand built in 1888 for miners to store water for sluicing gold found in and around Hanging Rock. Sheba dams reserve is a beautiful campsite high in the hills, 11 Km east of Nundle inland NSW Australia. Situated beside a large dam with plenty of shade and things to do. There are two dams that are remains of gold mining history.
