This image shows a building at the far end of Piazza Trento - Trieste in Ferrara, Italy. Piazza Trento e Trieste is a square of Ferrara situated in the city centre, in the past called "Piazza delle Erbe", a name derived from the homonymous market which was held in ancient times. Has a rectangular shape, closed on three sides and fully open on the side that has to Corso Martyrs of Liberty, formed in the middle of a sidewalk along 120 meters wide and 12 said "plank". Its construction dates back to the Middle Ages when it was erected the Cathedral : from that moment the square took on the value of key town centre around which are concentrated the most important seats of power. Around the square you can still find many old buildings, some of them perfectly intact while others have had to undergo renovations over time. Source: Wikipedia.
