Hut O, one of a number of Iron Age hut circles at Ty Mawr West, Holyhead , North Wales, UK


Ty Mawr West Iron Age hut circles on the lower slopes of Holyhead Mountain. Also known as Holyhead Mountain Hut Group and, in Welsh, Cytiau'r Gwyddelod meaning "Huts of the Goidels" (Irish). Looking south over the back of Hut O, a circular building with later division at it's entrance, situated approximately in the center of the western group. The various, round and rectangular were occupied and used by a small farming community. Not all the houses being occupied at any one time.
