Chaenomeles pink spring flowers, this shrub is also known as the flowering quince.
Chaenomeles belong to one of the most popular group of shrubs, those that flower in the early time of the year when days are short and floriferous displays are very welcome. There are three species within this genus; the Chinese Chaenomeles cathayensis, the Japanese Chaenomeles japonica and Chaenomeles speciosa which is found in China and Korea.
