A Correfoc for the Mercé festifity, the Saint of Barcelona.

Correfocs, which translates to "fire runs" in English, are traditional Catalan festivities where participants dress up as devils and other mythical creatures and parade through the streets, accompanied by fireworks, sparklers, and loud music. It's a lively and vibrant celebration deeply rooted in Catalan culture and often associated with festivals and local celebrations, especially during the summer months. The participants, known as "diables" (devils), dance and run through the streets, brandishing pitchforks and setting off fireworks, creating a spectacular display of light and sound. It's a unique and exhilarating experience for both locals and visitors alike.
