Thisagain varies much in size and form, but consists essentiallyof a central bar with one or two smaller ones at right anglesto it and strands of string so arranged as to form a flatexpanded surface. The smaller ones measure only a footor two in length. A larger one, such as is seen in Fig. 132,may reach a length of ten feet. This particular one wasused in a ceremony of the rain or water totem.
