The barge of Edgar manned by eight kings on the Dee, 973 (1864). Kenneth (954-995), King of Scotland, his son Malcolm, King of Cumbria, Mac Oric of the Isles, Dufnal of South Wales, Siferth and Howel of North Wales, Jacob of Galloway, and Jukel of Westmorland who all took the oath of homage to their superior lord King Edgar of England at the Church of St John the Baptist in Bath.
