A radio speaker is sticking out of the window of Belle Vue House (on the left of the image). A diagram showing a football pitch divided into numbered squares is on display in the left hand window of Coxon's shop. The crowd is mostly made up of men in flat caps, with a woman & several girls & boys also in the audience. The first live radio broadcast of a football game took place on 22 Jan 1927 with a match between Arsenal & Sheffield United
