Steve Jobs (1955-2011) co-founder of Apple Computer, after announcing the NeXT computer in San Francisco, CA. After leaving Apple in 1985 Jobs founded NeXT computers and announced what he called the next step in personal computing or an Interpersonal computer. In 1997 NeXT was purchased by Apple Computer Inc. and Jobs returned to Apple as Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
