Early- Egyptian—A standard sort; ten days to two weeks earlier than the old Blood Turnip. Owing to smallness of the top it can be planted very close. Eclipse—An extra early variety; globe-shaped, smooth, with firm, small top; very sweet; flesh fine and dark blood color.
