Thousands of Palestinians join a rally marking the 30th anniversary of the founding of the Hamas movement, at the al-Katiba Square in Gaza City. Militants from the al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, were present at the gathering. Chief of Hamas’ Political Bureau, Ismail Haniya, and the head of the movement in Gaza, Yahya Senwar, took part in the rally. At the event, Haniya spoke about Hamas’ resistance against the Israeli occupation over the last thirty years, and denounced US President Donald Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital.
