Unmanned combat air vehicle. An X-47B unmanned combat air system demonstrator (UCAS-D) on an aircraft lift on board the aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman. This was the first at-sea phase of tests for the aircraft. The X-47B is metres long with a wingspan of nearly 19 metres, which reduces to metres when the wings are folded. Photographed in the Atlantic Ocean on 11th December 2012.
