Bobbin-lace valance with diamond-shaped medallions, Natural-colored bobbin lace: Parisian lace. The ground is divided in two into a Parisian ground with clovers at the top and a lawn underneath. In the latter there is a symmetrical pattern of diamond-shaped openwork medallions with side vines topped by a flower between two leaves. The leaves, the side vines and a series of flowers and tendrils in the scallop edge stand loose in three closed streamers. The motifs are made in linen and provided with contour threads.
