BREAK IN LARGE WATER MAIN. A thirty-six-inch water xnain caused considerable dam-age to property when it burst in Toronto on the morning-of March gth last. The cause of the rupture has not defin-itely been determined, but it is thought that water hammeris responsible for the damage.
