Ruins of Aisle Chapels at Melrose Abbey, Scotland.

Melrose Abbey was established in the 12th century by Cistercian monks from Rievaulx in Yorkshire, and became one of the biggest wool producers in Britain. The abbey fell into ruin beginning with the Reformation in Scotland during the 16th century, but it continued to be used as a parish church until 1810. Today it is once again in use as an evocative and romantic location for weddings.
