One of two 90-ton transformers is moved up the boat ramp May 19, 2021 on its way to the switchyard next to the Barkley Dam Powerplant on the Cumberland River in Kuttawa, Kentucky. The Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District is replacing the transformers in the switchyard that have been in service since 1971.
