The Evretou reservoir takes its name from the eponymous Turkish Cypriot village, which remains abandoned after the events of 1974. The reservoir is located 8 km from the town of Polis and 33 km from Paphos, at an altitude of about 200 m above sea level. The construction was completed in 1986.
