Mouse VDAC1 membrane channel protein, molecular model showing secondary structure. This is the voltage-dependent anion-selective channel (VDAC) protein 1 from the house mouse (Mus musculus), also known as murine VDAC1 (mVDAC1). It forms a barrel shape for the passage of metabolites in and out of cell mitochondria. This membrane protein consists of 19 beta-strands. It contains 295 amino acids.
