At 4:58 on Tuesday, August 20th, 2013, the East Hampton Fire Department "White Knights" Heavy Rescue Squad was called assist members of the East Hampton Volunteer Ambulance at 32 Stratton Square for a male subject who had taken a fall from the first floor into the basement of a home under construction at that address. Fire department personnel used a Stokes basket, along with a combination of ropes and ladders, to safely remove the victim from the basement to a waiting ambulance for transport to the hospital.
