The Compiègne Clearing Museum, home to the memorial Armistice train carriage (not the real one-see notes) Compiègne, France.

The original Armistice train carriage was used by Adolf Hitler at the start of World War Two to accept the French surrender. He specifically had the same carriage brought to this site for the signing. The original carriage was eventually destroyed during World War Two and an identical one used for display in the museum.
