Striped bass anglers on the other side of the bay were very successful this week, quite a large number of tbese fine fish having been caught from the railroad wharves. Having fished for striped bass, called rockfish in the south, for ten years, I have seen many chaDges, A few years ago we seldom hooked striped bass along the New Jersey coast before July 1st, but duriDg the last three years Jane has been the best month, especially on fall moon tides. To be successful in fishing for striped bass, one mast learn where they feed. This is usually in holes along the beach, bat the fish move from one hole to another, so one mast hunt them.
