One of Vermont's most extraordinary attractions, the Bread and Puppet Museum, lies down a quiet rural road in the "Northeast Kingdom" near Glover. Housed in an ancient barn, the museum is a repository for hundreds of paper mache puppets and other theatrical props used by the internationally famous Bread and Puppet Theater Company which has been staging its whimsical, often politically inspired performances around the world since 1962. The museum is open from June through October and admission is free, Vermont, USA
