The interior arrangements areof two different kinds, viz., some are made so asto seat passengers with their backs to the rail,and others are made to seat them in the ordinaryway, facing each other. A cattle truck will hold four animals only —two on each side. The trucks, however, can beconverted into sheep or pig trucks by an arrange-ment which more than doubles the superficialspace. A moveable floor can be readily fixedinto the truck so as to convert it into a two storywagon, the upper story giving a level space of theentire extent of the wagon, which is about thesize of the ordinary railway cattle wagon.
