Marine Aircrewman Lance Cpl. J. R. Johnston watches out the door as his CH-53 Sea Stallion helicopter heads toward the landing zone near Yuma, Ariz., on April 17, 1997, during Exercise Desert Punch. Desert Punch is a simulated helicopter assault mission involving over 60 helicopters from nine squadrons of Marine Aircraft Group 16.
