The NAPS battalion holds formations there multiple times each day and every NAPS midshipmen candidate passes through the plaza several hundred times during their 10 months in Newport. Looney’s personal core values: be strong, be accountable, never complain; will provide daily inspiration to the future Navy and Marine Corps leaders who are beginning their careers at NAPS.
