PACIFIC OCEAN (May 22, 2021) Gunner’s Mate Seaman Bradly Rich, from Capon Ridge, , fires a line from amphibious assault ship USS Essex (LHD 2) to fleet replenishment oiler USNS Henry J. Kaiser (T-AO 187) during a replenishment-at-sea (RAS), May 23. Sailors and Marines of the Essex Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) and the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) are underway conducting integrated training off the coast of southern California.
