A rare lance-coronel for the Spanish Joust Royal 15th/ early 16th century. Formed with a relatively narrow tubular socket pierced for a bolt, three prongs of stiff diamond section each branched outwards slightly at the base, coarsely finished on the inside of the base, and the three prongs tapering to parallel sharpened points (possibly excavated). cm.
