Tilt-up concrete construction. Construction workers holding a concrete wall as a crane lifts it into place on the foundations of a new building. They are using a method of construction called tilt-up or tilt-slab. Modular concrete elements such as walls and columns are made on a concrete slab (usually the building floor) and are tilted from a horizontal to a vertical position using a crane. Photographed in British Columbia, Canada.
