This image shows a visual sending station at the 2nd Corps Signal School in Chatillon Sur Seine, France. The station is being used to demonstrate the capabilities of a 24-cm French lamp used by Signalers. Corporals Breker and Harmon have positioned the station in a tree to establish direct communication with the receiving station behind them. This photograph was taken by Sgt. Bernard Levey on March 1, 1919 and received on November 9, 1918. It is for official use only.
