NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (Jan. 30, 2019) Seaman Blake Johnsen, from Sioux City, Iowa, assigned to USS Gerald R. Ford's (CVN 78) deck department, ties a messenger line to a mooring line during Ford's first fast cruise of 2019. Ford is currently undergoing its post-shakedown availability at Huntington Ingalls Industries-Newport News Shipbuilding.
