A splendid German flintlock pistol, circa 1760 Round Damascus barrel with raised midrib, smooth bore in 14 mm calibre. At the breech gold-inlaid hussar between tendrils. Flintlock with elaborately chiselled and engraved trophies decoration against a background underlaid in gold (slightly pitted). Slightly carved full stock made from walnut with nose made from bright horn. Silver furniture with chiselled and engraved trophies decoration underlaid in gold. Wooden ramrod with horn tip.
