Tour de France handmade street decorations 2014 Knaresborough, Yorkshire, UK. The route of the cycle race has been decorated with more than 40 hand painted white T shirts using the official race colour yellow, to celebrate the tours arrival in July, The shirts bear designs of the competing teams and countries with the streets adorned with Tour-themed bunting knitted by local people.


Yellow bikes have already appeared in several locations. The Tour starts its three day visit to Britain on Saturday July 5, with, two stages, a 120-mile leg from Leeds to Harrogate via the Yorkshire Dales National Park Communities along the route are gearing up to welcome the teams and thousands of visitors are expected to follow the race. DalesYellowBikes will be seen throughout the dales with a competition linking the many decorated yellow bikes and other attractions in the area.
