FORT HUNTER LIGGETT, Cal. - Sgt. Di Nong, a recruiter in the Wichita, Kan. area for the Kansas Army National Guard’s Recruiting and Retention Command, displays the coin awarded to him on behalf of the Army’s Training and Doctrine Command for being selected as the January 2021 Hero of the Month Jan. 26. Gen. Paul Funk, TRADOC commander, established the recognition as a way to reward extraordinary contributions of individuals from across the active duty, National Guard, and reserve components.
