A 3 km long avenue of sphinxes connected Luxor Temple with the southern end of Karnak temple complex to the north. Luxor,Egypt

The Temple of Luxor was built by Amenophis III. The Karnak Temple was connected to Luxor Temple via a long stone processional street called a dromos. The dromos was built by Nectanebo I, and originally was lined on either side by sphinxes. In front of the Luxor temple, the dromos are extremely well preserved.
