Villagers wearing facemasks as a precaution against the spread of covid-19 carry a chest during the year the chest is carried from Almarza to San Andres de, in the opposite direction in the odd ones. It contains documents of great value referring to the management of the communal pasturelands these two small villages share since then. It is a unique tradition with seven hundred years of history. This year, due to the Coronavirus pandemic, it has been celebrated with strict sanitary measures.
