MEDITERRANEAN SEA (Nov. 7, 2018) - Boatswain's Mate 3rd Class Jake Ellingson uses a belt as a tourniquet on Seaman Jarred Paterson's simulated injuries during a mass casualty drill aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Ross (DDG 71) in the Mediterranean Sea, Nov. 7, 2018. Ross, forward-deployed to Rota, Spain, is on its seventh patrol in the 6th Fleet area of operations in support of national security interests Europe and Africa.
