In order to allow the division headswho are in the actual research work to be absolutelyfree to devote all of their energies to the research partof the business, the control division is entirely separateand handles the business, accounting and personnel ofthe laboratory. In the direct research department thereare eleven principal divisions: these include mechanicalengineering, fuel, chemical and metallurgical control,.
