This aircraft was built originally as a Bolingbroke in Canada,, It was converted into a Blenheim MK IV by the Blenheim Society in Britain, Due to a crash, The opportunity arose to rebuild the aircraft as a Mk 1. The nose of L6739 had been saved from scrapping by a Mr Ralph Nelson, Who purchased it and converted it into an Electric Car using the chassis of an Austin 7 motor car. Naming it as a `Nelson` He drove it for 10 years before donating it to the restoration project in 1993, The Road Tax Disc was retained in the front window.
