Kırkpınar (Turkish Oil Wrestling). Kırkpınar wrestlers pour and smear sunflower oil over the body of their competitor during the last training one day before the 648th Kırkpınar Tournament in Edirne, Turkey, on 2 July 2009. Kırkpınar wrestlers compete stripped to the waist and smeared their bodies with oil. Sunflower oil is used for the training because it's cheaper than olive oil, which is use during the Kırkpınar Tournament.
