As the weather deteriorates and dusk rapidly approaches, the vehicle carrier Hoegh Osaka is pulled by salvage tugs clear of the Bramble Bank in the Solent. A salvage attempt was aborted earlier in the day but nature had other plans and the tide and high winds lifted the vessel clear of the sand bar where it has been stranded since Saturday night.
