Sugary Cove is a small picturesque beach at the mouth of the river Dart and close to Dartmouth Castle. Access is via a steep path from the coastal footpath and at high tide the beach virtually disappears. This image, taken from the cove, shows Kingswear Castle and the training brig, ‘T S Royalist’. This vessel was built in 2014 / 2015 at the Spanish shipyard of Astilleros
