Augmentin antibiotic pills. Bottle and pills of the antibiotic drug Augmentin (also known by the name co-amoxiclav). Antibiotic drugs are used to treat bacterial infections. Augmentin is the tradename for a combination of two antibiotic drugs: amoxicillin and clavulanic acid.
