CHICAGO (July 6, 2017) Team Navy warrior athlete veteran Petty Officer 1st Class Adrian “AJ” Mohammed, left, and his guide participate in the men's upright tandem cycling competition during the 2017 Department of Defense Warrior Games. Visually impaired cyclists ride tandem with a guide to navigate the course. The DoD Warrior Games are an annual event allowing wounded, ill and injured service members and veterans to compete in Paralympic-style sports including archery, cycling, field, shooting, sitting volleyball, swimming, track and wheelchair basketball.
