Photo was taken from a public birdwatching hide at Mai Po Nature Reserve, Hong Kong, overlooking Deep Bay. Black-faced Spoonbill spends the winter in Hong Kong, and this breeding plumage bird is getting ready to migrate back to its’ breeding grounds near the Korean Peninsula.
