This ehants the magnetic relay whichwill cause the magnet to de-energize and the springto release, the armature thus opening the circuitthru the auxiliary heating element. VTaen the con-tact Is broken at A, due to the tendency of thestrip to assume its normal position, as soon as thetemperature falls below that value which the thermo-stat is to regulate, the magnet will be energizedand will close the circuit thru the upper element byattracting the armature mounted above.
