Jacob Mabry, principal of Swansboro Middle school, signs the Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU) as part of the Adopt-A-School program at Swansboro High School in Swansboro, , Aug 31, 2018. 3rd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment signed the MOU to support community involvement in education through the Marine Corps. The Adopt-A-School Program was implemented to help develop a mutually beneficial relationship between military personnel and local schools.
